Marvel doesn't want Jean with Wolverine or Cyclops at the moment. that's it, there is no reason to fight.
Also Logan and Jean kissed on New X-men but Logan himself said he wasn't interested (on a relationship) and Jean was pinning for Cyclops until her death and she is still doing it.

Bummed this is guest-starring the X-Men and McNiven is not drawing it.

Yeah, they look like dwarfs. I guess Storm skipped out on squat day. The artist drew her like she is doing squats. From the back Jean actually lookslike a dwarf. Though I thought it funny Storm called him an idiot lol.

Well, if they fight I can only imagine how this sends.

She always knew where home was though. No matter how much of a piece of garbage husband she had. Not that Scott is anything like Blackbolt.

Did you catch the painting of Charles on the wall? Looks like Elmer Fudd to me...

I don’t really look at solicits, but I thought this was supposed to be drawn by Steve McNiven.

This could also be due to the inker.

It was until Marvel pulled a fast one and quietly announced this guys going to do all the rest of the issues except the last. Because they knew that would be a major let down. They claimed oh it will keep the series on time which it then did not because the fill in fell behind thus rendering the entire point of having him pointless. I wouldn’t mind waiting for McNivens this guy not so much.

I usually enjoy Shalvey, but he’s off his game here.

Agreed. This doesn't look at all like his Moon Knight work, but he's not very prolific really and I guess that can make things difficult.
