    Default Batman Eternal #5 Preview/Discussion

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/05/...rnal-5-preview

Here comes the next issue of Batman Eternal, this time with James Tynion IV taking the lead and Andy Clarke is drawing (dang it, but at least I have Trevor McCarthy to look forward to afterwards).

Nice preview. It seems a bit long? That gives me good hope for the size of this issue. Anyway, one way or another, I'm excited.

I'm liking having a consistently good batman book every week, unfortunately never read much stuff with Tim in so looking forward to seeing him in this.

Looks good to me. Really looking forward to seeing Tim in this so I can't wait.

Holy crap, a well dialogued Time Drake? That alone is worth the price of admission. Hopefully this weekly will softly reboot the whole character before the relaunch of TT. And Andy Clarke's stuff looks great

I also like how Tim is being written, at least in that preview. I also like how Vickie Vale is being written as well. And is it too much to ask for Tim and Harper to meet and team up at some point, pretty please?

From what I've heard, most of Tim's storyline is going to be him teaming up with Harper.

Cool. At least he's actually going to be involved with the Bat-characters now, finally.

I'll be glad to see that to be honest. He's been off in his own little corner of the DCnU for far to long.

Looking forward to this issue. Tim Drake as the focus and he is being written well (at least if the preview is any indication). Count me in!

Well this is quickly turning into the best book DC prints, isn't it? (I'll pretend Green Arrow doesn't exist for a second!)

Great stuff. The Gazette beat is really like a laser-shot directly into my maxed out interest levels. Robin actually being micro-Batman is stellar. "Robin's Nests" is proper 90s era terminology and I love it. The convergence on Harper and Vicki heading there is right there in the open for us - plot needs no more motivation than "three curious people are investigating the same place".

Warren Spacey is a fun name.

Andy Clarke always puts a smile on my face. That Joker # 1 issue was gorgeous, his Morrison stuff was fun and he's got a real consistency - Alfred here looks identical to how he looked in "Batman vs. Robin". Plus a little boofy, spiky big hair on Tim Drake is always a way to endear yourself to me. 90s Robin had some big hair, man.

Really amazing that they are maintaining the a-list talent.

Andy Clarke's art has really improved over the last few years. I'm not a huge fan of his but he's looking really good in this preview.

I like how after the first two insane issues the series is settling into it's American Tv show vibe what with it's own writers room and rotating artists.

I found this issue to be confusing. What is going on with these kids.
