My parents bought me my first record player for a birthday and my grandparents decided to get me something to listen to as well. They didn't know any of the artists or music I liked, but they did enjoy this movie we all watched as part of the new years celebration. Come think of it, Grease was kind of a new years staple film, back home. Seen it many times. Love this 2LP soundtrack, which was the very first vinyl I ever owned.

Love that calm singing part balanced with the frantic instrumental crescendo.
