There’s gotta be a reason why old obsidian-haired Ares died in the pit and reemerged as a blond blue-eyed man, sure looks like she’s insinuating something

I'm going to go down as really enjoying Nord's art. I really like the overall composition choices, like in the first page of this preview, and the odd angles, like Diana talking to Ares. I get that it's not going to make everyone happy, though.

The Dodson's art is pretty, but I rarely find it interesting. If I had to choose between dating Nord's artwork or the Dodson's, I'd choose Nord's. Not that anyone dates artwork.

I like his layouts, but his details are kinda wonky and often a bit too cartoonish for my liking. I think his art needs a bit more consistency.

The Dodsons had better days as well IMHO. I'm with Frank, I prefer Nord for now. At least it's a different style. But I have to agree with previous comments, Wonder Woman herself is the element he seems to pay the least attention to.

As for the story, HELL YEAH, bring on the mythology. I trust Wilson to bring the myths back in an exciting new way. The "superhero Sandman" angle got me from the start, and the nymphs and creatures are a good sign.

The point is Ares (War) seems to have sort of reinvented himself in the image of the much-reviled white wasp American/western ruling class, or at least that’s my take on it. I’m obviously by no means suggesting that Ares is an actual protestant eheh

I'm her for the literal and figurative "Rebirth" of the Olympians, if it means a new status quo and ties them more vigorously to the development of Diana's more earthly, costumed foes.

If Doctor Psycho and Doctor Poison and Doctor Cyber and Anton Unreal and The Mask and Queen Clea and etc., are dealing with Diana as well as the Olympian deities, so much the better.

I'm ready for Giganta and Zara and Eviless, etc. to shine much more brightly in the pages of Wonder Woman.
