Quadrophenia and Tommy blow Pink Floyd's discography out of the water.

That said, I agree with 30. PF begins and ends with Piper for me. I've never seen the appeal of that band. My brother is a huge PF fan, has made me mix tapes of stuff and I just don't get it.

IMHO, all of The Killers music is pretty great. These two are the only ones with clear themes (I love a concept album!), and best showcase Brandon Flowers vocals/songwriting.

"I should describe my known nature as tripartite, my interests consisting of three parallel and disassociated groups; a) love of the strange and the fantastic, b) love of abstract truth and scientific logic, c) love of the ancient and the permanent. Sundry combinations of these strains will probably account for my...odd tastes, and eccentricities."

I never really got Pink Floyd until I started smoking pot.

Not saying you should try that, but you should totally try that.

and now for sometime totally different...... Not in any specific order.....

    Madonna - Like A Prayer

    Michael Jackson - Thriller

Prince & The Revolution - Purple Rain

    Heart - Heart

    Nena - 99 Luftballons

    Donna Summer - Bad Girls

Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad

    Madonna - Madonna

    Bryan Adams - Reckless

    Tina Turner - Private Dancer.

If I had been able to list greatest hits, the two Madonna albums would come off, and two of her greatest hits CDs would be on...."Celebration", her most recent package, and "Something to Remember", a collection of her ballads.

    Me too. And Ozric Tentacles.

Since I stopped, the appeal of Ozric Tentacles has worn off, but I still quite like Pink Floyd.

Really tough to choose, but will give it a shot (mostly from my teenage years 16-19):

    Suzanne Vega – Solitude Standing
    Bananarama - Wow
    Madonna - Erotica
    Madonna - Like a Prayer
    Bananarama - True Confessions
    Shakespear’s Sister – Sacred Heart
    Belinda Carlisle– Runaway Horses
    Janet Jackson– Rhythm Nation 1814
    Kim Wilde – Close
    Transvision Vamp – Velveteen

If I could add Greatest Hits there'd be a whole lot notably ABBA (Gold) and Kate Bush (The Whole Story)

In my early 20s, this could've made my list. I can't really take Billy Milano seriously, or his worldview.

But I still car mosh when March of the SOD pops up on a Spotify crossover playlist.

No doubt Billy is better left ignored & dismissed. Still, that first SOD was hilarious offensive & the music STILL holds up quite well, 30+ years after release.

Phil A. tried to call out Scott Ian from Anthrax for being on this record...but Scott never seig heiled and white powered the audience at one of his shows...
