I'm assuming compilation albums are off limits...

    Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley
    Rubber Soul - The Beatles
Come Fly With Me - Frank Sinatra
Born in the USA - Bruce Springsteen
    Who's Next - The Who
Live at Newport - Duke Ellington
At Folsom Prison - Johnny Cash
Live at the Apollo - James Brown
Live at the Regal - B.B. King
I Never Loved a Man The Way I Love You - Aretha Franklin

I'd probably have a different (mostly) list if you asked me tomorrow, since I have a lot of favorite albums.

    The positions might shift from day to day, depending on my mood, but these 10 are golden;

    JUDAS PRIEST - British Steel
BLACK SABBATH - Heaven And Hell
IRON MAIDEN - Number Of The Beast
    ACCEPT - Breaker
    SAXON - Denim & Leather
    QUEEN - Miracle
    DEF LEPPARD - Hysteria
    WHITESNAKE - 1987
    RAINBOW - Difficult To Cure
PINK FLOYD - Wish You Were Here

    ...and many more.

You've picked possibly my two least favourite Pink Floyd albums. The Final Cut in particular, I thought was a terrible drab album.

    For me:
Adam and the Ants - Kings of the Wild Frontier
Babybird - There's Something Going On
Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
    Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes
Iggy Pop - Lust for Life
    Madness - One Step Beyond
Madness - The Liberty of Norton Folgate
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Murder Ballads
    Portishead - Dummy
Placebo - Without You I'm Nothing
    The Divine Comedy - Regeneration
Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Armed Forces
The Velvet Underground and Nico - The Velvet Underground and Nico
    FFS - FFS
    JJ72 - JJ72
The Kinks are the Village Green Preservation Society
The Kinks - Something Else by The Kinks
The Polyphonic Spree - The Begininning Stages of...
    Pulp - This is Hardcore
Small Faces - Ogden's Nut Gone Flake
    Suede- Dog Man Star
    Supergrass - I Should Coco
They Might be Giants - Lincoln

    I went a couple over 10.

Why do you not like Animals? It's generally percieved as one of Pink Floyd greatest albums. Final Cut, I understand people being turned off by the drama caused by it's production, but I think it's Pink Floyd's greatest concept album (I don't like the Wall) and I don't consider there to be a single bad track.

Also albums such as the Division Bell or Ummagumma in my opinion, are obviously far worse.

    Interesting.

I recently started to listen to Battle Born, and so far it's not grabbed me in the slightest. I haven't given up yet though. Sam's Town was a grower.

IMO, Pink Floyd starts with Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here. The other albums are either fine or, at the very least, interesting, but not of the same quality (again, IMO).

I do love all three of those.

My first exposure was an '88 concert my parents took me to, so that post-Roger Waters era is what made me a fan.
