    Default Question About Filipino Stick Martial Arts

    I'm aware of the Filipino eskrima martial arts. Are there any Filipino martial arts using a long staff weapon like the bo?

    None that I have seen. The FMA stress the use of short swords, stick & unarmed fighting technique. The sticks were for training purpose but as the FMA exploded, the stick is what everyone wants to learn.

    I was heavily into Balintiwak for several years & I absolute love it.
