"Obviously"?! The Division Bell and Momentary Lapse of Reason are my two favorite PF albums!

IMO, Pink Floyd starts with Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here. The other albums are either fine or, at the very least, interesting, but not of the same quality (again, IMO).

I do love all three of those.

My first exposure was an '88 concert my parents took me to, so that post-Roger Waters era is what made me a fan.

Since we can't use compilations and my feelings change year to year I'm going to just to do my top five constantly listened to albums

AC/DC Powerage, Highway to Hell (tie)

    Judas Preist British Steel

    PM Dawn The Bliss Album...?

    Soundgarden Superunknown

Stevie Wonder Songs in the Key of Life

I specifically didn't put Seu Jorge Life Acquatic Sessions on my list even though it's my absolute favorite album since I wasn't sure whether it was considered a compliation. If it's not I'll sub that for Ready to Die.
    Pull List:

Marvel Comics: Venom, X-Men, Black Panther, Captain America, Eternals, Warhammer 40000.
    DC Comics: The Last God

I remember that time well. They were very popular again after a few years of being MIA on the album charts.

In practice? That's just a recipe to wind up bummed out.

Half of the things that are actually my favorites are albums/discs that never wound up being proper albums. Take the Jim Dickinson rough mixes of what eventually wound up being mixed by John Fry to make up Third/Sisters Lovers. No way I'd ever consider ruling that out as a potential "Favorite" just because it never saw proper release.

Or Static Age. Should folk have just had to leave that off a list while it was part of a boxed set before it later saw a separate release? Should it get counted at all since it was technically a debut album that was never released at the time?
Well, since it's just a message board post, I say list whatever records you want. Anarchy.

But if you want to adhere to rules...Radio City is Big Star's best anyway. And Static Age totally counts--his rules didn't say anything about being properly released at the time they were recorded.

As for the two Ozzy records you mentioned, his rules didn't preclude out of print records, so if the original versions were your favorite records, they count. And I'm pretty sure both have been re-released in the past couple of years as remasters of the original tapes, leaving those shitty 2002 remixes in the dust--and I'd definitely count a remastered album as a proper album.

Please don't remind us about those 2002 remasters, ZH.

Admittedly, I’m kinda picky about the music I listen to and have rather....eclectic tastes, I’m more about compilations and greatest hits collections. Here’s my list, in alphabetical order by album title:

    Arrival - ABBA
    Headquarters - The Monkees
Jesus Christ Superstar - original soundtrack
    Let’s Knife - Shonen Knife
Live At Budokan - Cheap Trick
    Parallel Lines - Blondie
    Pink Lady - Pink Lady
    Rumours - Fleetwood Mac
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band - The Beatles
Songs In The Key Of Life - Stevie Wonder

I am, too. My list would be drastically different if I included them.

Mine too as I’d have Beatles Red (62-66), Beatles Blue (67-70) and Beatles Rock & Roll Music at the top of my list as I listen the heck out of them!

The first two albums were the first Beatles music I ever owned. My best friend taped them for me after I got my first cassette recorder for Christmas '77. My brothers and I played that tape daily for a long, long, long time.
