Default Would You Read A Canon Version 'Gifted' X-Team?

Like the title says...Would you read a X-Book with the canon versions of the Gifted X-Men.

    I'm talking a team with:

    Polaris
    Warpath
Thunderbird(Neal Shaara)(Closest to Eclipse power wise.)
    Blink
    Cuckoos

Would this be an X-Men team you would want to read about and follow?

150% yes, the show has way better ideas/characterization than the current comics, Polaris deserves to be pushed in the comics, this synergy would be perfect

I agree. It would also be great if they brought back Thunderbird to the X-Men. Feel like he never got a fair shot and I could see him and Polaris hitting it off pretty well.

Curious as to what the rest of the forum thinks though.

Dunno about the Gifted, but I'm dying to see Carey and Kerry from Legion make it into the books.

I'd rather they introduce a brand new 616 version of Eclipse. But other than that, yeah: sounds good.

Which is irrelevant. This is just a team made up of characters used in Gifted. Not a canon adaptation/inspiration of the show itself.

I don't thinks so. There are waaaay to many unused characters with overlapping powers already. On top of which Neal is so unused it would be really easy to merge almost everything about him into Eclipse and at the same time give him a new code name.

But Yaaa! Glad someone else agrees that this could/should be a team book.

I could start I won't finish. As a teen, this was my experience reading the ultimate universe comics. I have always found it hard to read comics not in the mainstream continuity.

I love the show, but don’t like enough of the characters to read about a comics version, I think, since you left out the struckers who I find compelling.

Also, it irks me when people put descriptors after their poll choices. Even though I voted no, I don’t think it would be a “snooze fest”.

The best thing about the show is the humans, trying to keep up and do the right thing in a mutant context. The human perspective has always been a lacking element in the books. Like Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel, I’m not sure Gifted would translate to comics. Serialized YA novels or short stories, probably.
