Shame on us all for not talking about this book coming up because it was outstanding.
Orlando looking for his proper shot at Superman is damn near palpable during his short story. There's some great connective tissue between Superman and Martian Manhunter, and Wallker's art is freakishly good. Do yourself a favor and check this one out.
Taylor is someone else who seems like they're basically chomping at the bit to get a proper shot at Superman, but his Kara is no slouch either by any stretch of the imagination. There's a moment in the story were I fist pumped pretty f**king hard. It's a very warm story.

Taylor needs a Superman book ASAP. Last week's Injustice 2 Annual and the Supergirl story in this were amazing. Restart Adventures of Suoerman or World's Finest for him. He's said repeatedly Superman is his dream character to write.

I agree, this book was a pleasant surprise. I liked a lot of the non- superman family pieces as well (like Firestorm).

It's really unlike me to toss $10 on a holiday special but I was, I don't know, I was feeling this. I loved the collection of characters in focus here, and Cecil Castelucci had a CATWOMAN short, so I got it.
I'm still working through it. Absolutely loved Castelucci's CATWOMAN. Kamandi! Depressed Aquaman! Didn't care much for the Kal Kent story, since it was primarily a Martian Manhunter joint.Last edited by Flash Gordon; 12-01-2018 at 10:35 PM.

The Supergirl (woman?) story was the best and I love the fact that they use Star Trek designations for planets! Class M!
