In the finale of “Art of the Crime,” Batgirl may have uncovered Grotesque’s real plot, but that only means she knows the real danger that faces Jim Gordon and the GCPD! Can Barbara take down Grotesque before he pulls off a massive heist and ruins the GCPD’s rep in the process? Maybe, but it won’t be a paint-by-numbers job!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Due to the 4th Tuesday of December falling on December 26th (the day after Christmas), there will not be any new issue of Batgirl next month.
Instead, issue #30 is currently due out for January 2nd (2019) while issue #31 is suppose to ship for January 30th (the 5th Wednesday of the month).

While Babs was due for a new look, how Jim doesn't call her out on her putting on that outfit whenever he sees her is a mystery to me. It does absolutely nothing to hide her identity.

To be fair, many other superheroes costumes shouldn't hide the identity of the superhero at all either.

Robin and Nightwing only wear an eyes mask, while the previous cowl of Batgirl costume shouldn't hide her identity either. Not to mention Superman.

True, but those people aren't trying to hide their identities from their parents while right in front of them.

It is an impressive show of suspended belief/disbelief. It's worse on TV shows or other. "I know that is you, Supergirl, with your glasses and semi-frumpy attire".

Just gotta go with it, for the most part.

Yeah, it's the same with Nightwing, Robin, and the Green Lanterns. If we want to be realistic they're all going to look like Batman, in full helmet, body armor, and voice modulator.
Heheh... what would Batgirl's Christian Bale voice sound like?
