I agree. This whole issue feels very hollow and manufactured. Cable is still around. The younger one. And at some point he’ll jump into the timestream and magically “get older” or the original one will return. These characters always default to their status quo looks and characterization. So I can’t really be bothered to even care about this issue, and Cable is my favorite character.
I’ll just hang back and wait twelve months or so and he’ll be back.
He is the same character, just younger and, yes, before all of that development you mention. I get why Hope is sad. Just explaining why I’m not, as a Cable fan. He’ll be back to his silver haired, super swole glory in no time. So this issue just rings hollow to me as a reader and fan.
So artists can't remember Anole's large arm but can remember a mistake tail from Iceman's solo? This is redic.
Also we REALLY REALLY REALLY don't need Hope around.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

It's funny and strange to see Jean and Hope mourning for Cable while a younger version of him walks around.
Well I'm not much of a fan of Hope but as some have said, assuming the father's legacy makes more sense than a young Cable and I would buy a comic with this team (despite Glob).
It's good to know Surge is still alive. I wonder where the next irrelevant cameo she will appear in?
@# $%& marvel stop pushing Glob and give us a new comic with the new X-mens that readers want to see .
