Wow, I never saw that before. I imagine this wasn't available in Canada at the time, because I would have been all over that. The production department must have had fun pulling together all those images--really random, everything from the 1940s to the 1970s and in-between. Interesting the name they gave Freddy and Mary--I don't think I've ever seen those names used before. Shazam, Jr. isn't too alarming--but Ms. Shazam! before there was ever a Ms. Marvel. That's amazing.

LOL going through the list, second one is Jane? I was like who..?
Had to get all the way to the second to last one, before it finally made sense.
DC had the license at the time.

Also Ms. Shazam! and Shazam! Jr. damn Marvel really screwed them in being able to promote those characters.

Of the DC ones, the Legion actually looked best together as they had consistent art style
    Most the others looked wonky.

I had Marvel's Conan one, thought it was badass!

Reminds me of this ad from my 1967 comics, for Batman posters by the definitive team of Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson. I was too young and too poor to send away for the posters--I could only look at the ad and dream.

Alternatively, for a pin-up, you could always just pull this one off the staples, after all, no reason to save these old books in condition.

Although I'm curious was the contest entry above, just held in Sensation.?
Did the readers of All-Star where the results came in, get a similar contest form?

An ad for Howard Chaykin's Iron Wolf--who made his debut in WEIRD WORLDS 8 (November-December 1973). Although this ad may suggest that he was supposed to get his own title. The lettering is by Walt Simonson.
