For me Superman. He is called the greatest superhero for a reason. He's supposed to be the most selfless and heroic. He is the hero other heroes look up to. Or are supposed to when written well.

Ma Kent's the only character I know who has never been given a controversial depiction or making a controversial decision

    Bibbo

More than most he takes superman's example to heart and tries to live it. Always there to offer a helping hand to someone down on their luck and stand up for the little guy.

If anyone had the right to be Clark Kent's mortal enemy it was Mon-El. When he finally was freed from the Phantom Zone he should have set out to kill the Caped Kryptonian. And he would have been totally justified.

Not to mention he goes on to become the greatest hero of 31st century after all he had is lost and never shows angst or stops going what's right.

Mon is and always will be one of the greatest heroes who ever lived.
