Hellboy 3? Legendary Pictures is listening... sort of.

During the Legendary Pictures panel Guillermo del Toro asked the audience "Hellboy 3?" followed by loud cheers. To which he replied, "Good, because they're listening," and pointed off stage to the Legendary Pictures producers.

Later when Thomas Tull (majority shareholder of Legendary) came on stage he said, "I do want to say, del Toro posed a question, and I'll say, when he's done with Pacific Rim 2, we'll talk."

As usual, don't get your hopes up, but you needn't give up hope yet either.

^GDT recently said that it's been difficult to finance because both HB movies only became successful when you factored in home video. With the home video market shrinking and shrinking in the 6 years since HB2 came out studios are sheepish about green-lighting a 3rd.

I would love a third Hellboy. I love the films.

Hellboy 2 is one of my most watched movies in my DVD collection and it certainly left much potential for a third movie.
