Although At the Mountains of Madness doesn't have the same ticking clock that Hellboy 3 has. I'd prefer At the Mountains of Madness, but I still hope Hellboy 3 comes along next just to satisfy all those people that have been patiently (and some times not so patiently) waiting. I can wait for At the Mountains of Madness. i'm sure it will be worth it.

Del Toro is a great guy, but sometimes he's just too ambitious.
Other than movies, he's also involved in TV shows like The Strain and an upcoming one called "Monster", based on a popular manga with dark themes.
It'll probably take more than just some cryogenic tech to preserve Hellboy Actors for the potential HB3,
we'll probably have to clone Del Toro too, just so he can finish his bucket list of works.

He's pretty famous for having a lot of pots on the burner at once, but I think he does it smartly so he can continue to work regularly as more often than not these pet project fall through.

I want Hellboy 3 to come out just so people will stop asking Mike about it.

    That'd be nice.

Yeah, then the questions can start about the BPRD movie, the Lobster Johnson movie, the Baltimore movie...

Or a Hellboy reboot. I hear reboots are quite the in thing.

Well yeah, that's kind of the thing 'though isn't it, like how Hellboy really has hooves instead of boots?

But then again Del Toro seems the genuine article too, in seeming such a cool and inspired moviemaker dude. Plus he seems just as big on getting a good fun crew together as much as mr Mike together with Dark Horse.

So I figure I can rejoice over GDT doing Hellboy as a movie-thing, together with but buff, butch or bitchin' folk as baller as Perlman and Blair, and I'd feel up for a concluding one.

Preferably with some Lobster Johnson in there (played by Mark Strong? from Low Winter Sun) and not too many (or any) hellbabies. Oh and Edward Grey needs to be in there, played by someone funky yet swankey, like... Ewan McGregor tipsy, or perhaps Edward Burns considerably more tipsy.
An Iron Shoes ambush would make for a nice surprise, or some Japanese heads, or a monkey with a gun.

And anyone going old yet not dead would only make things more interesting, I'd find. Like balls or the weather, or a combination of the three.

BPRD movie actually sounds neat, I wouldn't mind a TV show of it either.
Though I prefer Hellboy, Roger, Abe and other non-agents to be part of it,
a "Hell on Earth" human team should be feasible,

as long as they don't teenagefy the cast.

Jeffrey Tambor was on Colbert just now promoting his new series Transparent. Most of the conversation was about that series, but right at the end Colbert asks if there will be a Hellboy 3. Tambor says that there's rumblings, but they better hurry or he'll be in a walker by the time it's made.

I actually think BPRD would work better as a tv show than a movie.

I just watched that, was super surprised Colbert asked the question!
I hope that is good news
