As the globe trotting adventurer heroes they were set up to be, been waiting for this book to continue since 1975. LOL!
And yes as is, it could be a great TV series.
All your "new" (read as derivative) ideas here are lame, none of them are going to be better then the already established original set-up:

They are the greatest adventure trio already, they were a diverse team before most of you were born, and it wasn't forced or about that, nobody was ridiculously replaced, gender or race swamped to "fix" anything, stop trying to reinvent, "revamp" or "fix" and replace with your derivative garbage, these three were ahead of all of you, and none of you (or the bozos currently running DC)will ever come up with something better. LOL!
Just pick it up, and keep their adventure going...

And give them back their base and hover-jet, it was fantastic! - https://community.cbr.com/showthread...=1#post4404578

Seeing as many list them here: The three; The Dragon the Tiger and the Destroyer, should really have their own book again...

    Absolutely!
although they really did blow the chance to somewhat redesign (and tone down the toilet-seat element) of the helmet, with this re-intro.
And I do love Jeff Lemire's style and aesthetic here.
Just would have been the perfect opportunity to slightly rethink it. I mean this is the original guy that should visually be making the Dredds the Fetts and new derivative Mando run for cover.
Yet as is, he will still be a hard sell.

They've tried redesigning the helmet over the years, and it always ends up making him look like a generic armored guy/security guard. I thought the helmet was stupid at first too, but I've come around to loving it because it's so distinctive and ugly! (though I do prefer the 90's tweak of making the mouth opening and eyeslits hard angles - the way Lemire drew him above) And the whole look - jet pack, short sleeves and old-school gloves! I've seen too many "practical" segmented armor stuff these days that none of them have an impact visually and they're too busy-looking. Nope - I'm all in for the toilet helmet!

So am I, love the character as is, however it's somewhat a visual impasse to some.
As indicated, they've redesigned the mouth opening and eye slots, so tweaking it isn't a problem, or betrayal of the character or anything.
They don't have to abandon it, honestly just tone it down so it's not a full looking toilet seat over the top, they could easily just make the same design a thin ridge over the top.

Wasn't it implied that Kate had super powers due to being Iron Munroe's granddaughter?

Also Sandman is a precog last I checked.

Or are they disqualified here, cause they once got "super Powers" and I use that term loosely. LOL!
