    Default Doug Moench's 1980's Batman run

    Will these issues be put into a collection the way they are doing with other creators?

    Let's hope so, maybe they'll do it after
    Batman by Doug Moench and Kelley Jones:
    * vol.1: BATMAN #515-525, 527-532 and 535-536
    * vol.2: BATMAN #536-552

    What about Batman 526 and 534, and Detective?

    How come they aren't included in the volumes you mentioned?

    Well #326 is by Kelley Jones with by J.H. Williams III (and not Kelley Jones).
    While #333 & #334 are crossovers (Legacy) and pointless read alone.
    And Detective Comics is by Chuck Dixon.

    Didn't the issues mentioned come out in the 90's?

    Yes, but he had a run in the 80s as well. IIRC Tom Mandrake was his main artists.

    I don't love those issues, but they are way way better than the ones he did with Kelly Jones.

    I am referring to the 1980's Pre-Crisis Doug Moench Run.

    Hopefully after they finished the CONWAY stories(Should be one more vol in that series), DC will start to reprint the Moench stories with Newton, Colan, and other artist.
    Keeping my fingers crossed.

    His main artists were Don Newton and Gene Colan. Tom Mandrake became the main artist at the end of his run, after Don Newton died.

    Ah. I think my Batman comics start around the time Tom Mandrake came on board then.

    Shame I missed the Gene Colan ones. He's great.

    I remember Doug Moench gave Penguin the ability to survive Antarctic temperatures without thermal underwear!

    I severely doubt the entire run will see proper centralized collection anytime soon (or just plain ever).

    DC just collects parts of it in scattershot style in a bazillion volumes.

    I made custom binds of the entire run. Only option really.

    Such a great run. 80s soap opera. Sad that most fans really only have access to the Moench/Jones mid-90s run.

    They need material for their HC series Legends Of The Dark Knight and Tales Of The Batman, and this run is a perfect candidate, so I wouldn't be that pessimistic.
