Also, it really sucks to hear that Arcade has been getting downplayed after he became a legitimate villain in Avengers Arena and Avengers Undercover. Really enjoyed those stories.

Avengers Undercover got him insulted by Zemo for bad video editing, kidnapping children, and not having the spine to go for the big league heroes. I don't think he's respected by any villain or feared.

Avengers Undercover got him insulted by Zemo for bad video editing, kidnapping children, and not having the spine to go for the big league heroes. I don't think he's respected by any villain or feared.

Arcade wasn't respected by other villains, there's no denying that. But he was still a threatening villain (especially in Avengers Arena), to the reader.

The Glob story was a solidly-executed, pitch-perfect joke story. It was my second favorite.

Arcade is a character that is best put in that sweet spot where he can be used for humor and as a threat. Arena/Undercover did the best job of showing why he can be both.

Except he honestly wasn't much of a threat in Arena. The only way he even really got the kids to actually fight each other was when he took an active hand in it, (the only one who was really inclined to go along with it was Apex) so his plan failed in that regard, and even with his tech he would have been outclassed by several of them had they been written properly (especially Darkhawk and Laura).

I'm sorry, but I can't see Laura of all people being a match for AA\AU Arcade. Firstly, the guy had access to her trigger scent. And if that wasn't enough, he was shown to be on par with people like Nico Minoru.

Worst one being Wolverine with his hot claws. Because.... Hot Claws.

Also, I love Jubilee and Shogo adventures but saying she was trapped in a mall full of killer robots with a baby for a month was too much of a stretch for me.
