I think the thing with Captain Atom is they screwed him up sooooooo bad at the start of the Nu52 he is still sort of toxic even though the mini series did fix most of the bad "Captain Manhattan" crap that original Nu52 series buried him in. The mini put him back in a good place character wise and I am hoping they are just letting him rest a little more to let people forget about the "Captain Manhattan" garbage.

Basically they just wrote him as Doctor Manhattan lite. It totally changed pretty much everything about the way he used to be so they could write him that way.

Yeah, N52 destroyed the character it took 6 issues to fix it. Hopefully we’ll get an ongoing soon or a minis for that matter.

The only good thing to come out of Seven Soldiers (in my opinion) was Bulleteer. (Well, maybe Frankenstein, too.) I would love to see her again.

I deeply dislike that kind of writing. Growing and changing a character is one thing. Warping one into something that they aren't because it suits the story a writer wants to tell annoys me.
