Nightwing was mentioned somewhere too, I heard, though from some book or something, so might not be cannon.

But if Kate was a child when Batman was established and known, Oracle was mentioned long before Batwoman debuts (whichever season of Arrow Felicity becomes Overwatch), and the radio announcer joke-speculates that Batman (when Batwoman is starting-out) missed catching a criminal to attend Robin's highschool graduation - makes you wonder which Robin the Arrowverse was up to (2nd or 3rd?).
I wouldn't assume anything from a mention here or there in an old Arrow episode before Batwoman was on anybody's radar. Stuff like that can be easily ignored if they want to

The Oracle reference was also more of a joke then anything else.

Right. It was meant to make CB geeks like us smile for a brief moment and then move on.

Well, if you compare Adam West to Batfleck, is that supposed to say something about how men are perceived?

1966 Batman and Robin's vehicle was interesting by today's standards too:

If decide to make TV Kate's bike closer to the comics it will probably look a bit cheesy, since it has a big red bat symbol on the front.

Are you saying Adam West doesn't look manly?

I'm not saying anything. I just didn't see your point.

Just like I don't think they have a budget for a Batmobile, I don't think they have the budget for a tricked out Batcycle.

I think it would look pretty cool though...

That back in the 1960s it was felt female superheroes should have pink, frilly looking things while now female superheroes have gadgets that are a little more dignified.

Also, before the '70s, women couldn't run more than 10 feet without either tripping or collapsing due to exhaustion.

I like to contrast how women dealt with monsters back in the day, running away, screaming, falling down, getting caught, with how Harley Quinn dealt with the monsters when they attacked her in the elevator.

We've come a long way from Batgirl in the '60s show.

Except, Harley is one of said monsters. So...
