I think Legends is a wholesale different beast altogether (and doesn't it have the weakest ratings of the Arrowverse shows?) to be comparing it to Batwoman. It barely even counts as a DC show anymore.

If Legends introduced a lead who was from the comics and played up their comic background only to end up replacing them with an OC, then I think there would be more of a comparison.

Didn't they kind of do that with Captain Rip Hunter to Captain Sara?

From what I understand, the comics Batwoman has her own rogue's gallery, so why aren't they using them?

Because then they'd probably run out of characters by the end of the first season?

I guess when you put it that way yeah, but I don't think Rip was the lead of Legends on the level of, like, Oliver, Barry, Kara, or in this case Kate.

Frankly, LoT is the one I least care about in regard to Arrowverse shows (and, yes, BL kicks it butt and then some).

I for one find comparing BL and LoT pretty difficult, given that they are completely different in tone.
I love LoT for wholly different reasons than the rest of the show. It's just zany fun.

Black Lightning is pretty much the darkest of the Arrowverse shows, even more so than Arrow ever was, or Batwoman.

Flash and Supergirl are somewhat in the middle, mostly idealistic, but with pretty dark moments thrown in as well.

I do too. Mostly because I'm of that mindset and I'm not getting any.

In all seriousness, though, I have no problems with Black Lightning. I just think LoT is the best of the CW shows.

Seems they want a more "likable" and light-hearted, "goofy" style Batwoman - sounds dumb to me.

Also, apparently as long as you're a lesbian you can be Batwoman - that's all it takes. And apparently lesbians are interchangeable too, who knew?

She sounds like she's going to stick out like a sore thumb in the show and in the role.

Well, I'm expecting the premier is going to be Pilot-level rough because they're basically going to be writing a new shore more or less.
