Just finished watching episode 3. I thought it was a bit of a let down, the first 2 episodes were better in my opinion.
The fight with Zsasz was over way too quick and just felt unfinished.
The updated costume I love but that wig is terrible. I'd prefer if she just had her normal hair if she didn't want to wear the red wig. The new wig is way too big and boofy and just doesnt match the new costume.
I know they gave her that wig because she is African American but I think they could have done something much better.

Yes I do know other ethnicities can have big hair too but clearly this wig is because she is African American.
I love the new suit just not a fan of the wig, maybe i need to get used to it?
I just think Ryans civilian hair would have matched the Bat suit better.

Well, they'd have to be extensions so as to not give away her civilian ID... (although I guess with the way she's so popular, a lot of women would probably copy her and get them as well, so ... that'd be a good cover.)

That's pretty early renewal. I guess they like the buzz they've been getting with the first few episodes.

I'm guessing the rest of the performance this season will determine if we get a season 4 or not.

Hopefully them getting renewal news this soon allows them to really plan to stick the landing they need to for the end of this season and into the next and I really hope they will leave Kate behind in season three.

Yes and No.

It really depends. I know when they were the WB they gave Sister Sister a 2 year renewal. NBC-well TNBC did this as well with Saved By The Bell New Class, Hang Time and City Guys. Renew early and in those cases split a season into 2.

I would SUSPECT it has more to do with making sure your staff and crew know they have jobs going into 2022.

Supergirl and BL are gone-leaving their slots to Walker & Superman/Lois. I would suspect Painkiller and Wonder Girl shows to be midseason or summer runs if they get picked up.

Also looking at some of those shows a LOT of them got enough shows for a decent syndication run once you count in next year.

Legacies kids would be ready to graduate if they wanted to end that show at 4 years.
