Interesting choice. I liked him as the bad guy in M:I2, and now he has a good weathered sort of face for the role. I can't imagine he'll keep his accent.

I'm looking at pictures of him from around that time, and to me he looks similar enough to Rose to plausibly be a relative. That's certainly not a requirement for these sorts of castings, but it's neat when it happens. I wonder if that means they'll try to cast Gabi with someone who more closely resembles Skarsten.

Boxing is relatively basic, so that might not mean much, but it could indicate a relevant scene. She also posted this:

It'll be really impressive if Skarsten can work up to doing those flips really fast and more complex. Already looks good.

My guess would be a flashback scene as well. With the Batwoman training something more than boxing would be expected, especially since Bats have gadgets.

Hey, so just reading the descriptions for both Jacob and Catherine - seems like Batwoman will be against her family, with the exception of her step-sister, the pilot/first season.

A very inter-generation war of ideologies, against the parents. Then there's her nemesis. And tension with her married-ex. Lots to work with for the angst.

Chuck is short for Charles. Charles Dodgson is the real name of Lewis Carroll.

Probably a new character, and they're being cheeky with the name.

Apparently, the production design will be done by the same person who did the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. So this person will be in charge of Gotham city's look.

I quite like Sabrina, so hoping Gotham looks good.
