Hey all! I made my own post but thought you guys would appreciate this the most. I wrote an article in support of Cyclops being named Marvel's Hero of the Month.

He doesn't have the best mainstream image, and I know tons of people who perpetuate it because they believe it's deserved. Annoys me a little since he's my absolute favorite Marvel character lol.

Thing is, tons of people are clueless on a lot of the details about what Scott's done and who he is, taking cues from the movie and the '90s cartoon. They tend to believe it's a one-to-one match regarding his characterization, so I thought I'd try my hand at changing that.

The blog is pretty new, and won't be 100% comic-focused, but since comics are a pretty hefty portion of my life, I'd like to start making lots more posts in this vein.

It's tragic how true this is. At the same time, it's somewhat hopeful because it shows that the Marvel/Fox conflict isn't enough to keep the X-men from being awesome. My only concern is that this will encourage Marvel to step up their efforts. Something's gotta give and I don't know how much longer the X-men can hold on.

Lets be honest the only way any of this gets fixed is one of two ways, imo. Disney or News Corp buy each other out, or the super hero movie bubble bursts and there is no more money.
