I'm thinking it might be from the Cyclops limited series right after he gets Poccy pulled out of him. There is a chapter where he gets lost and has to blindfold himself to fight a monster that blinds anyone who looks at it. The arc villain was Ulysses IIRC.

When I saw the trailer for this movie I was like, OMG, they are making a Cyke movie??? Then, of course, I realized that they weren't an heartbreak and all that. But man, it would be awesome, wouldn't it?

It would be awesome if he had that design, yes.
But Solo Cyke movie? I'm a huge fan and I don't want that.
I don't want a solo Cyke movie anymor then I wanna Solo Storm, or Jubilee or Jean grey movie. The X-men are a team, the team dynamic that resembles a family.
The interaction is too appealing. I'm not saying they aren't great standalone characters, they're just better together.
Sure peanut butter out of the jar is tasty. But Its better with jelly and bread to me. And milk.

But Solo Cyke movie? I'm a huge fan and I don't want that.

Storm, Jean and Cyclops could def have their own movies. That doesn't mean they wouldn't come back to them team though. For example, if they're keeping Tyke in the next trilogy, they could have him in a Starjammers movie with him and Corsair as the leads. After that movie, he rejoins the XMEN as a true leader. A solo Storm movie would also have a very different tone from the other movies. I don't think Jean would need her own movies since the Phoenix Saga would pretty much be about her anyway.

Seconded. Cyclops cares more about the big picture than what happens to himself. The odd vacation is one thing, but Cyclops (the adult version, anyway) going on a lengthy solo adventure would just feel... wrong.

Very much agree but it was still a nice few seconds to enjoy someone finally realizing how amazing our Cyke is!!
