I know people are claiming comic accuracy all the time but they're taking it the wrong way. I know the Jim Lee costume is iconic but doesn't translate well to the big screen, and that mask is green Lantern tier, how does he even seem with it? Maybe a wider visor area.

For that costume I don't see anything wrong with using the generic jumpsuit from first class, with some X's here and there. Or a male variation of negasonic costume. Avengers costumes were adaptations of ultimate avengers and modern costumes, not trying to emulate iconic old costumes to please a niche group of fans...

New tester gives a clearer look at the visored costume for Cyclops in X-MEN:APOCALYPSE with half bandolier strap action ala the Jim Lee design.

Damn, that visor, though... No. It's SO thick. Tyeclops won't even be able to emote with his eyebrows. I guess he'll have to work up to the X2 visor but still...

I don't like the visor on this one. I think the X2 visor was much better - maybe they could have used that one in the gold color. I'd have too see the rest of it in motion to properly assess it, but the big golden visor is something that really only works on the page.

Completely agree. It just looks silly, along with this uniform, but then again I haven't seen the whole thing so I might be wrong about that.

Since it's probably from the final scene of the movie it shouldn't matter much that he should emote all that much, it's probably gonna be redesigned by the next movie anyway. Overall i like the way he looks with costume as a whole.

They are all horrible, but I think Cyke's is the least horrible(aside from the facescreen). At least its a nod to his Jim Lee that is still visible. Jean and Storm's are a mess, and barely register as their Jim Lees. Nightcrawler and Mystique take the cake, though. Wow. Singer, get a new costume designer...
