I doubt Scott will be gone for as long as Jean has been. At this point, Jean's death means more to the comics.. like Uncle Ben or Bruce Wayne's parents. Cyclops is the leader of the X-Men and he'll be back to kick ass and chew bubble gum soon.

I do very much like the idea that there are remnants of the Phoenix force left in Scott that will revive him.

I LOVE THIS BEYOND ALL REASON!!! And yes, I miss this Magik so much. When she was a good friend and there for Scott even when she didn't entirely agree with him. I MISS YOU, YANA!!!

I'm really hoping that Tyke seeing Cyclops killed and the coming issues with Emma Frost that he'll have, that he changes his tune about his older self. That's the biggest reason why I'm sort of turned off by Tyke.. because I'm a fan of his older self. I want him to start carrying that legacy, if Scott does stay dead, that is.
