Thanks for you comment and you make a good point. I agree that Jean Grey wouldn't have done what Emma tried to do. That's not her nature. But Jean Grey is a lot less willing to cross lines and operate in morally gray areas, compared to Emma. You could probably say that about most heroes in the Marvel universe. That's what makes them heroes. In the article, I tried to ask that question in the context of people who aren't heroes and are just really hurting from losing someone they love.

Just like Wolverine, Clint Barton, Iceman, Cable, Daredevil, Carol Danvers, Tony Stark, Captain America, Psylocke, Colossus, Cike... and so on.

Hmm. The best profession for Cyke if he ever left the X-Men? His old radio show voice plus years of piloting plus years of ordering people around successfully = air traffic controller. I can see him in the tower using his optic blasts to avert disaster in the skies, too.

Nice image. I miss those moments too. It feels like none of the writers could figure out what to do with Cyclops and Rachel, as a family. It was just easier for them to follow their own respective stories. I think that's a missed opportunity, but one that's understandable to some extent. Rachel was always a bit closer with her mother. But the extent to which she's been separated from the story of her parents is kind of odd. If and when adult Cyclops returns, I hope that changes.
