Tht doesnt contradict what he said. Scott was with Xavier some time before the entire team was assembled. Beast plucked them out right before they graduated. He wasnt 15 when he came into present day

In his solo series cyclops said he's been just a few weeks with Xavier when he did the time jump to the present, and I don't remember his birthday, thus 15 still, maybe 16 atm

Retcon. According to Stan Lee's original notes, Scott was 18 or 19 as of X-Men #1.

Though I suppose you could stretch it and say Scott was 15 when Xavier recruited him after battling the Living Diamond and that several years took place between that and X-Men #1.

Scott can't be 15 if Bobby is the youngest at 16. But writers aren't paying close attention to continuity or to ages (which slide around under the best of circumstances). Now we know even the best of writers have been infected by Bendis' 'Screw Continuity' mentality - it's a company wide problem.

Exactly. He was with Xavier for awhile before the entire team assembled. By that time he was at least 18 and that was the age he was when he first appeared in All New X-men, but his appearance in his solo title contradicts that. Given the time jumps and everything thats happened, I think its safe to say he's about 18-19 now.
