It's her sleeping wear. Pajama bottoms and a frilly top with spaghetti straps. Makes more sense than a nightgown.

That being said, a nightgown would've made the scene super funny instead of super creepy. I'm guessing that's what it came down to.

It'd be so easy to mercilessly mock her for it if she wasn't so endearingly bad at it. Tangel, Tyke and X-23 all tried to bail on her, with varying degrees of success. Jeen is crazy. CuBeast is slowly becoming crazy. IceTeen can't even be bothered with baseline politeness like, say, remembering girls' names.

Not the best of track records.

Why? Its a comic book with people shooting lasers out of their eyes as the least improbable element. Its a comic where the "rules of time travel" are by company edict whatever the writer wants them to be. (The predates Bendis by the way) Who cares where they come from, it sells well and is pretty amusing, sit back, enjoy the ride or just don't buy it.

Didn't start it. I thought it was the amalgamation of Cub and Beast.

He's still Beast, but he's smaller, fluffier and nobody really wants to skin him yet. Makes sense.
