From what I remember of Lemire's Cyclops comments, he said that Cyclops wasn't available. I don't he said he purposely didn't use Cyke. Adding Cyke to the EXM lineup would make it the best X-Men roster in years.

If a writer doesn't like a character then its better he/she doesn't use that character. Besides, the ideas for these stories (mutants going extinct...again and more inhuman crap) sound awful.

I'm perfectly fine having my favorite hero stay out of this 'blast zone'

To the fans that look forward to this, I hope it turns out good. Me, not my preference.

To be honest I've never heard of the guy until he was announced as the new writer for X-Men so I'm slightly optimistic to it but hesitant nonetheless. However i don't like how Marvel is bending over backwards to please Lemire so he can have his Claremontian nostalgia trip line up

My money's still on Magik stabbing the crap out of him and banishing him into some hell dimension during the EXM/Inhumans crossover.

I'm a little worried too but we have to keep in mind some things:

- Cyclops is a character that sells books and has a large fandom. Marvel is still a publisher with editors and employees and works just like any other company. Marvel Studios doesn't feed them so... you can't afford to put a character that sells, on the shelf.

- I'm cool with Lemire and the X-editors keeping secrets about Scott, this is good. He was exposed a lot recently and it may be a smart strategy to create this mystery around his whereabouts.

- If they put him in Inhumas, it's obviously for one purpose: sell. This will make us buy Inhumans. But does that mean we'll become Inhumans fans? I don't think so. We already know'em, for like, overs 30 years. Still not interested.

- I still don't think we saw the last of him in Secret Wars.

- Will he have his own team? I hope so.

- We have Tyke (not sure if it helps)
