I'm so glad D'Vorah is back. I wonder if NRS can break their 7 women tops rule for once.

I heard there was a leak of Erron Black, but it doesn't seem official yet.
Hey there, adding fractions here made me lose interest in the conversation I thought we were having.
The timestress here (I think she's female, according to the wikipedia artcle) should make it more than 7 non-DLC characters I think. Who do we have confirmed so far that are female other than staple character Sonya Blade, D'Vorah, and Scarlet?

To put things into perspective, the launch of MKX had 28% female characters if you count Ferra/Torr as a female slot. MKXL, with all the dlc had 24%. Less than 1/4.
Kronika is unfortunately already confirmed to be unplayable.
That said there is a new achievement leak that has Jacqui, Frost, Jade, Kotal Kahn and Erron Black, which is nice. Assuming Kitana is playable we're already at 8, which is a little better than 7 and a record for NRS. Achievements also had 3 new characters besides Geras so it's very plausible we'll end up with 9 female characters at launch which is 36%, a welcomed improvement. Especially considering there is also Kronika, the main villain who is a woman.

This game is looking good. On Best Buy, a preorder of the game says it comes with a digital version. Is that an error or has that been announced as a thing?
