I'd love if Medusa and Black Bolt were playable. They may have scaled back the amount of Inhumans though now that they're allowed to use the X-Men again.

Yeah, it wasn't a rights issue, there was just an embargo on using the X-Men and FF in other media because of the film rights situation.

Like, they've always had the animation rights to the Fox properties, they just didn't use them in the cartoons because of the film rights.

Basically. They replaced them with the Guardians of the Galaxy and more Avengers (i.e. Marvel vs. Capcom, the Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon, etc.)

Civil War re-appropriated the Mutant Registration Act in the comics. They even made a movie about it.

"They" as in the developers because of the embargo. I'm aware there were no legal issues, just Disney/Marvel being petty.

Okay I'd definitely call this the "final roster" at least until the inevitable DLC comes in. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the lineup they went with overall, especially compared to how Marvel vs Capcom Infinite turned out. Only real snub is the lack of FF character, which I can see be added in with DLC.

There's definitely at least one more. Maybe some more Inhumans too? Two/three of them.

The game doesn't release until July, so we probably still have some reveals coming, likely including that last X-Man. Probably at Nintendo's treehouse in June.
