Would this board allow for new characters being part of the team? Or would that be to outrageous?

Having new members on the team would lead to griping about where the old favorites are and that we don't care about these new characters. Conversely not having new members on the team would lead to griping about not introducing new characters and being repetitive and too reliant on nostalgia. Sometimes from the same people. We want what we want until we get it and then we decide that's not what we really want and now want something else NOW.

I mean we're being incredibly reasonable, the chances of them using those characters are incredibly high. Its honestly not our fault Marvel uses the same 20 characters for literally everything

This is X-Men. To get a new character of note, you have to brand a cow with the Phoenix logo, give it a red wig, and bathe it in gold before presenting it to editorial.

It's Claremont's daughter Kitty Pryde and the leader of the X-Office is an Excalibur guy. She will be demoted but remain present.

I'm trying to figure out if Nate plans on using Kitty to phase the earth or just have her there to get schooled by Apocalypse.

There are not a lot of options. Most are in AoXM. The New Mutants are infected by the Tecnarc virus. Rogue and Gambit will not be part of this, as they are busy in their own book. Kwannon is also busy elsewhere. So I think we have left, besides Scott and Logan, Dazzler, Havok, Emma, Cuckoo's, X and some kids, of who we know they won't use anyway.
