Color me unimpressed. I'll watch it but I'm not expecting to love it. I've read the comics too many times to enjoy it in afraid.

Just don't know how to feel about that.

They might have made this series more "Superhero" than Watchmen(Film) did. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Edit: Unless they really buried it in the trailer, Ben seemed pretty pedestrian versus the comics.

I'm a little disappointed, to be honest. I was hoping they'd do a better job recapturing the book's aesthetics.
I know it wouldn't be the easiest thing to do, but it would have made for something really unique.

Especially with people from legion working on it.

    Don't know there...

If you take Fargo/Legion, there's more than just that person in the mix. Altered Carbon was nowhere near the quality of those two shows.

I dunno, I think the trailers are doing a decent job of reaching the "Emo Adam West" vibe of the comics. Some of the comics weird visuals are admittedly difficult to adapt, but I think the effort is being put in. Them not just making Pogo a human goes a long way for me.
Continuity, even in a "shared" comics universe is often insignificant if not largely detrimental to the quality of a comic.

The series is live on Netflix. I've only watched a single episode thus far, but I very much enjoyed it. It's a looser adaptation that some would prefer, but it's tonally on point, and the necessary story beats appear to be present. Will try to get through it over the weekend.

Just finished it. Wow. Page gave a hell of a performance. I'm not thrilled with all of the choices they made but they made it interesting at least.

While it's not that bad, it's also not exactly The Umbrella Academy.

Having never read the comic and judging it just as a TV show I am really enjoying it after the first 2 episodes. It has a good cast and the mystery of what the hell happens has me hooked.

The first Millarworld thing will be "Jupiter's Legacy".
