But yeah, as per that incident, and others, he's shown strength well beyond what a gorilla could bring to bear unless I am sorely mistaken vis a vis gorillas.

Cap easily. Stronger than a gorilla. Way faster. And way skilled. There's a reason "You fight like a gorilla" is not a compliment.

Utter curbstomp even without the shield. As others have noted, Cap is stronger, very much faster, and far more skilled. It's a crushing victory for the supersoldier, and you should feel badly for putting the gorilla through this.

There was an old thread back in the day where we wondered how powerful a gorilla would be if he was the composite of the amount of gorillas needed to match Jupiter's mass.
