*crosses fingers* please make Sue Storm a professional of some sort. she doesn't need to be a scientist. but give her something more than aspiring actress/model.
and now would be a great time to make Hank Pym more than a wife-beater.
We'll find out sooner rather than later I guess.
Yeah, that's true. Guess we'll soon find out.
I'm not being ''optimistic'' about this. In fact I don't really have any feelings outside of curiosity right now about this. I'm simply stating that it's way too early to be saying that it's been ''poorly written and poorly executed''. That's all I'm saying. No need for sarcasm.
I know, still at least it gives me more room for speculating LOL.
who will Wanda and Pietro's parents be, I wonder...
Maybe this has something to do with Best Defense?

As far as ''pretty to look at'' that depends on who's doing the art. ''ultimately meaningless'', probably given the history. ''Over-priced'' again, probably given the history of events. I'm just waiting to see what actually happens (or at least a preview or an interview about it) before I jump to conclusions about the quality (or lack of) of the story that's all.
Not that I wan to get into a Marvel V DC thing, because I don't, but, at least the DC reboots are clear signposts for continuity. It's not perfect but it's easier to reconcile the different characterizations and changes to history.
I have no problem with that.
The problem I have is with Marvel and it's fans that continue to act like the Marvel Universe is this solid continuous single continuity which is just BS. I've been reading comics since the 70's. Marvel has had just as many if not more retcons to it's history, as DC has. It just doesn't put a fancy bow on it. None of these characters have the same history that they used to.
One of their huge selling points is just hypocritical mumbo jumbo.
If all they want to do is rewrite old stories, just reboot the damn thing and get it over with.
Not a huge fanboy wrath thing. Just kinda bugs me.
Batman - Daredevil
DC reboots aren't stopping points for continuity because the old continuity always comes back. They don't really fully reboot because there's too much history to play with. So when it comes back, things get messier in universes that were rebooted to be simpler. This is not preferable to Marvel having a straight line and occasionally adding a squiggle, and neither is the X-Men just going in actual circles.
