Hmmm, while I am very excited for the Crisis, that trailer.....wasn't that epic.
Keep in mind they are still trying to save a lot for the actual shows, and that this trailer probably only shows pieces of the first 3 parts.
I do wonder how permanent the deaths and destruction will be at the end of this. The original Crisis famously made Superman the true last Kryptonian by killing off Supergirl- it looks like they may be doing something like that here with the destruction of Argo. But if all realities get merged in the end, I wonder if Argo will end up coming back.
You gotta point there.
Probably in a smaller, more personal direction.Anyway, with everything at stake here, I wonder what they're going to do for the next major winter crossover.
So who are the seven Paragons?
- Green Arrow
- Flash
- Batwoman (I guess the scene with Bruce is a fakeout?)
- Seems like it ends up being Routh's Superman instead of Supergirl.
- Black Lightning?
- Martian Manhunter? It would explain why The Monitor was so focused on him.
- There's a pan on Cisco and Sara...maybe it's one of them?
One of the upcoming Supergirl episodes is called "The Bottle Episode," so I wonder if the Post-Crisis Earth revives Argo in the form of the bottle city of Kandor.
They should really go extreme and have everything blowed up real good (as they used to say on SCTV). The fact that the universe has to be rebooted anyway (at least that's how it was in the original COIE) gives them license to throw everything up in the air. They can always put everything back in the order they want it, later.
been saying this for months waiting for Crisis. It CAN be a chance to reshape, redefine a stale formulaic Arrowverse. Fun things that could be done with it and through it. I am hoping they take the opportunity to do some things, but I think I am setting myself up for disappointment thinking and hoping that the execs/writers will actually do that.
