Oh, wow! The thing everyone knew was gonna happen, happened!
Oh, yippee! Your characters are going to go out fighting a two-dimensional pirate and some toddlers!
Oh, huzzah! Laura getting horny in the heat of battle!
Oh, no! They got Tabby! It's symbolic of Brisson controlling Tabby for the foreseeable future and in my nightmares!
Claremont's Ghost: "Can we have Larraz?"
Brevoort: "You will not get Larraz."
Chris: "But you're getting Cummings and Dauterman and Kubert and--"
Brevoort *sweats a bit* "Okay, okay! Take Larraz! Make the prettiest X-Force pilot ever!"
Imagine how obviously bad this story would be if Larraz wasn't distracting us with this gorgeous art.

*after figuring out that the villains are going after the O5, all the X-Men immediately let them out of their sight
*Rachel flies at Ahab knowing he has TK-resistant harpoons and he's fast as hell
*These kids manage to tag Trinary, OML, Gentle, Gabby, Tabby, and Warpath as if none of these characters can't avoid two children
*Literally no one swats these kids out the way
*Mimic tries to impersonate Scott for.....some reason? Even if he was trying to trick Ahab into thinking he was Scott, he knows that Rodrick was hunting them down and was actively trying to kill them. I don't understand what he was trying to accomplish.
But yeah, that Larraz art is GORGEOUS. It's a shame he's only doing X-Force covers rn
Monkey's Paw has nothing on X-Editorial.
Remember when pre-X-Men Red everyone was asking for Laura to be more present in X-Men events and team books? Well...
Context is king.
X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!
I'm pretty sure Mimic has a healing factor.
This really should have come out before Uncanny. My supenese level is pretty low now.
Some of us wait, some of us act.

Brisson writes an absolutely superior version of Tyke and makes me more hopeful about the annual.
Also, thank God for Larraz' return, even if I love Anindito.

"He did it. Summers did it."
"I don't understand...What exactly did Cyclops do?"
"He kept his people alive."
