All Atlanteans have some degree of enhanced stats, though this is to varying degrees due to the seven distinct kingdoms/racial groups living under the oceans, but members of the Royal Families are explicitly noted as being specifically more powerful than the norm.

Of note; Aquaman's mother kills her way through a group of soldiers alone easy enough. Arthur himself is stronger regular Atlanteans to a significant degree, Mera also jumps out of a plan with no damage and takes being blasted through walls and the like plus she has hydrokinesis which no one else in the setting shows. Orm is a reasonable match for Arthur in combat and does things like tear a big hole in the side of a military submarine with his trident.

Arthur's half human nature doesn't seem to have diluted his powers at all. He's also got that "one true king," thing going on so he's especially powerful even for an Atlantean.
Royals are very strong.

Yeah its weird, the human part of him offered him literally no advantages or disadvantages, other than the fact he had a tan lol. He literally could have just been a full atlantean who happened to live on the surface.

I was expecting Mera to have issues being stuck in the heat or something but nope... handled being in a desert just fine.

The "one true thing" seems to be the reason he could talk to sea life. I still don't understanad how he was the "one true king" anyway. mythology was weird all around for this movie

He's as fast as a guy with melee training.

Wonder Woman, Flash and Superman are the only Leaguers wth super speed.

I don't think Drax has the strength to match Aquaman. Drax is tough with his blades but I think Aquaman may just be able to overpower and overwhelm him.

With AMs strength and durability, he’ll take Drax.

Movie AM is a beast. He’s definitely out of Drax’s level
