Yes, I think The Flash tv show definitely nailed that concept and they continue to do it each season.

I think Static was first with the “Big Bang”.

Fair enough, and since Static is often considered an updated version of the Spider-Man archetype circa the 1990s . . .

What if Earth 1610 Peter never died? Would Miles Morales have still become a superhero?

That's a good one. He did get there just in time to witness Peter's death, but if he'd been there to see Peter triumph over Norman Osborn and live through that battle . . .

What if Spider-Man was not a stereotypical 1960's nerd figure, but instead a jock with a healthy dose of self-confidence?

He'd be Flash Thompson as Spider-Man, which may or may not be a good thing.

Yeah, that's a theme that's actually been done I think three times already (What If? Someone Else Was Bitten by The Radioactive Spider, What If? Peter Parker Had To Destroy Spider-Man, and most recently What If? Spider-Man from the latest run).

It'd be kind of cool to see the What if? v2 #76 revisited, that had some interesting concepts.

I posted two good ones previousle:

    - What If... Mary Jane would have kept her powers from Spider Island?
    - What If... Silk wouldn't have stayed imprisoned in her bunker for years?

So, here I have one more. What if... Venom would have bonded with Black Cat?

Felicia went to the Kingpin to gain her own powers and be at the same level that Spidey? How about if, instead of that, Venom would have bonded with her?

I don't necessarily think so. I did my best to try to avoid this scenario.

Peter Parker as a jock does not strike me as the same type of jock Flash is.

What if Spiderman was a criminal who got arrested and eventually joined the Thunderbolts?

I saw fanart for Peter as an X-men with more physical features. So i might try writing What if Peter was a Mutant?

Spider-Man joining the Thunderbolts would be an interesting What If? to take on. Considering how many times he's been mistaken for or misrepresented as a criminal in canon . . .

Not sure if this had been brought up yet, but "What If?" Eddie Brock had become Spider-Man and Peter Parker became Venom?
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.
