Frankly it's just more of the same. We've got one token character from the 2000s, and everyone else is from the Claremont or pre-Claremont era.

Moonstar, Karma and Banshee have barely been in use this century, Wolfsbane has never graduated to the big leagues and Madrox is a fan-favourite who deserves an apology.

The good news is that books don't last much longer than a year.

If you don't like the creative team or cast, the next Uncanny volume will be hinted at in about 9 months.

As for the costume decisions: we already knew before today that regression and 90s are the theme.

X-Men Red was terrible, and any character appearing there, minority or not, was just a backup dancer for Jean Grey. It was practically a solo. (that is not the reason it was a bad book, solo books can be good too)

The last run of Astonishing was very good, and largely because he used the characters he wanted to use, instead of using some kind of checklist to create the team.

Madrox has never been on the main title before either. There’s no pleasing some people.

I honestly love that they're going after Nova BC it would feel like an apology after Red's fluffy end.

I don't think it's a killing squad like some might think, but they might need to take extreme measures if the anti-mutant wave is all they're hyping to it.

I think my favorite thing about what is known of this arc is that it had a build-up. People refer to it as Rosenberg picking dangling threads, but it's very nice that he took his time to give the story proper context. We haven't seen much of that lately and I welcome it.

I said before I like the cast, but I'm really torn about Beto's absence. I really wanted him as part of this and would happily trade Havok for him. Other than that, I look forward to this book. It's nice to see this many characters that weren't very used on the flagship being its protagonists now.

I'd be up for the one on the right, or Scott cosplaying X man, and keeping the beard! Didn't marvel said they want the female audience? Cyclops sexy beard would mean 100% more female audience, even more if he's very friendly with Warren and they play beach volleyball

2. Go into space and have dinner with his dad.
3. Give Hope a hug.
4. Meet with Wifi and have a long conversation about not killing one self. Even if Cyke might have wanted to do it to Tyke lol jp.
5. Find X-man and give him a spanking for being a naughty child.
6. Go back to number #1 and make sure it happen lol o..o
