No way in HELL this is gonna be his actual get up come Uncanny #13.

Y'know, I thought the undoing of Morrison's run right after he left was bad but at least they took it seriously when they went about with the retcons and they kept some stuff like Scemma and the school. But now, it's this constant onslaught of WE NEED TO UNDO THE LAST 20 YEARS TO SAVE OUR PRECIOUS SOULS TOUCHED BY THE TAS LORDS through annoying meta-commentary about "the good days" or just flat out pretending years of stories never happened.

The line up is interesting. I do hate the 90's costume on Cyke. Hopefully it is only temporary. This 90's call back we are in is very annoying, but hopefully the story will be good.

I'd be up for the one on the right, or Scott cosplaying X man, and keeping the beard! Didn't marvel said they want the female audience? Cyclops sexy beard would mean 100% more female audience, even more if he's very friendly with Warren and they play beach volleyball

X-Men Red started with a lot of potential (I've enjoyed the first few issues a lot) but it quickly got stuck in its own message and spiraled into a lazy monument to sacred Jean. It's a shame. I wanted Morrison's Jean, not the one-note perfect one that Taylor gave us. So many good threads he could have picked up with her return. Oh, well. The rushed ending didn't help either. Nor the other characters being ignored like that (poor Storm).

I agree so much with this. X-Men Red started so strong, and I did enjoy the book but it did have some problems. I recall in an interview where Taylor mentioned that Jean does get angry (acknowledging her temper) but I don' think he ever used it (outside of the annual). Jean was too passive and she thwarted Cassandra at about every turn.

At least Cap's classic look has aged better then 90's Cyclops' costume, in my opinion at least.
