This is probably a repost, so sorry if it's been done.
Which do you prefer - Barbara as Batgirl or as Oracle?

Oracle with Cassie as Batgirl and Steph as Spoiler.
Oracle.
Other media, short stories set in the past, and elseworlds can keep the memory of Babsgirl around, but Oracle is one of the characters with the most meaningful history in all of comics.
I’ve always preferred her as Batgirl, but I like her in either role.
When she was Oracle I missed her as Batgirl and now that she's Batgirl again I've realized how much Barbara has grown as Oracle and I desperatly miss her days as the most important info source for all the DC superheroes.
I prefer her as Batgirl but I don't see why she can't be both.
Currently(or soon to be) Reading: Alan Scott: Green Lantern, Batman/Superman: World's Finest, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Jay Garrick: The Flash, Justice Society of America, Power Girl, Superman, Shazam, Titans, Wesley Dodds: Sandman, Wonder Woman, & World's Finest: Teen Titans.
Neither. Personally, with all due respect to the Barbara fans on this forum, has become stale, and only further muddles up the already overcrowded Bat-Family and distracts from the far more interesting characters of Cassandra Cain and Stephanie Brown.

She'll always be Batgirl to me. Yeah, it's all nostalgia because that's what she was when I "met" her while watching B:TAS, but y'know what? I don't care.
I still have a great deal of liking for her as Oracle though, especially in Simone's BOP run.
I've enjoyed her in both roles, so I'm not picky.
"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
Oracle. There are plenty of costumed heroes; Oracle is unique.
Beverly Allen, the Bee--with honey and stinger.
"If humans have souls, then clones will have them, too."--Arthur Caplan
Oracle was the much better character. Her as Batgirl is just another knock off, but Oracle was a unique character.
Batgirl.
Because the Killing Joke is overrated and the story of her being used in that is disgusting, coupled with the fact that in-universe it makes no sense. She should have been paralyzed for like a weekend before she was healed by one of the 1500 people in the DCU who have the tech, powerset, or magical ability to heal her.
Oracle was great, granted. But she can fill that role without being brutalized or giving up Batgirl full time.
I like both versions if I'm honest though I did really enjoy her time as Oracle, especially with the Birds of Prey arcs.
Oracle. It was a role that made her someone. Now she is just another Bat person.
