I am curious why we haven't seen different iterations of Jem (besides whatever that was that passed for a movie). Since we got that with Transformers, He-Man, Thundercats, GI Joe, and My Little Pony. The only widly popular 80s property that's odd man out, is M.A.S.K. but at least they've been talking about doing the movie for a while, so...who knows.

When I first saw Guardians of the Galaxy, the first one, I was like "why didn't they get this guy to direct a Jem movie?" Didn't know anything about Gunn at the time, just that he seemed to understand 80's cheesiness and do a multi-character movie well.

So, yeah, good question...maybe re-interpret her for modern day as a Youtube sensation that takes off?
