    Also, these could have been separate books, it's so long ago that I can't be sure but I think they were in some kind of anthology or something. I wish I had more details to share...

    Just thought of something - it may have been perfect bound (glued like a paperback) not saddle stitched as most comics or magazines were. Could this indicate that it may have been a digest? I don't remember enough about it to confirm the size...
