    Time to tally the votes:

1 vote each: Abe, ChadH, MajorHoy, Paul Bullion, Spike-X, SuperCooper, Venomous Mask, whiteshark

Well then. congratulations to MRP for a cover which includes the dinosaurs, as well as the folks who worked to bring that knowledge to light. The Claremontesque wording on the title and description is an added bonus.

As to what the captain has learned this week, he has been reminded of the deep meaning the dinosaur has for many, even most, of us. Where we know the evidence states that we and they never coexisted, we can't get away from the appeal of those Thunder Lizard Thingees. The appeal of these creatures inhabits our very souls. And they make for cool comic book covers.

    Happy Holidays to you all!

and Thanks to Abe, SuperCooper and PaulBullion for your votes. I've not been that close in a while. A great cover IMO by Pat Broderick.
