    Default Best X-men film

With Dark Phoenix, we will be getting a new X-men in the coming year. The film franchise is almost 20 years old, and I wondering what you all thought was the best in the franchise. Now, you should only answer if you honestly liked at least one film in the franchise, and is still a fan.

My faves: X2, The Wolverine, X-men:First Class and Deadpool.

It would be funny that the best X-Men movie, Logan, is the most detached from the X-Men if it weren’t so sad and indicative of how poorly the X-Men as a whole have been treated by Fox.

Logan was a good movie in movie terms, but it wasn't really an X-Men movie.

My pick is X2. Built on the solid foundation of X1, and while flawed had some fun scenes for just about the whole cast.

I want to like First Class, considering Kevin Bacon is a hilarious Shaw but January Jones as Emma made me angry.

    It's X2. I take the clause "X-men film" to mean it's a team dynamic.

That eliminates Logan and Deadpool. Outstanding movies that I'd be much more inclined to watch casually than X2, but much less "X-men" in their content.

Xmen dofp is the best xmen film, but I dont think we really had a true xmen film. Hopefully we get a real xmen film when it goes to disney.

Days of Future Past for me. It may be my favorite superhero movie period, though I'm torn between that and The Dark Knight.

X-2 and First Class are also up there for me. I liked Logan and Deadpool but because I'm not a huge fan of the characters, it didn't have the same appeal for me. Though I can definitely see they are well done movies.
