Namor catching Thor's hammer was jobbing. Sorry, no

Yeah, that was ridicolous. It's almost as bad as Red Hulk holding Mjolnir and riding Silver Surfer's board. i hate Loeb.

I think an easy way to look at Thanos stories is that anything written by Jim Starlin, Ron Marz and Keith Giffen is the real Thanos while anything written by other authors should be dismissed as a Thanosi clone.

Honestly...we should Chronicle ALL of the jobbing Thor has done. Are we limited to Jason Aaron? Can we go back...to the beginning of Thor jobbing?

I'd say that began after Jim Shooter left Marvel and Tom DeFalco took over as EIC.

But...that's a lot of jobbing too...

Tom Defalco gave Thor some good feats though.

Didn't Juggernaut once catch Mjolnir as well?

I'd rather not. Aaron is the current writer with a clear axe t grind against the character he is supposed to be writing, so...

I just meant in the De Falco era.

Magical shenanigans as I recall from Juggsy's force field or some such.

Yeah...I get the same impression...that he doesn't care for the character. Or the fans.

But then Thor used Mjolnir to weaken Juggy's magic force field and then defeated him.

Thing of beauty really. Loved those fights. IIRC, his fight in volume 2 (when Romita was writing) was against 8th day Juggernaut? That sound right?

Jurgens was writing and Romita Junior was drawing.

Sorry, right. Did you like Jurgens as a writer? If you could pick one writer to "right the ship" as it were with Thor, who would you choose?

Either Al Ewing or Hickman, as long as he doesn't touch Thanos again.
